"This is the best dental office I've ever been to! Everyone is so friendly and nice! The office itself is super clean. Dr. Taylor (both of them) are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Highly recommend, especially if you have any sort of dental anxiety"

I recently had the full-arch dental implant procedure done at Smith Dental, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the initial consultation to the final follow-up, the entire experience was top-notch. Dr. Smith and his team were incredibly knowledgeable and caring throughout the process.

Dr. Stephen M. Taylor, DDS, DIDIA, is the proud owner of Taylor Dental & Implant Center, where he practices alongside his father, continuing a family legacy of dental excellence. A summa cum laude graduate in chemistry from the University of Oklahoma and a 2010 graduate of its College of Dentistry, Dr. Taylor has earned both fellowship and mastership awards from the International Dental Implant Association, as well as the prestigious Diplomate Award for his advanced implantology and oral surgery training. He has completed thousands of hours of additional education to provide comprehensive dental care, from single-tooth restorations to full-arch treatments. Dr. Taylor is committed to relationship-driven, family-focused dentistry and enjoys life with his wife and their two sons.
Dr. Jim Taylor has been serving patients in a family-centered environment since founding Taylor Dental & Implant Center in 1976. A member of the inaugural class at the OU College of Dentistry, he is also part of the Oklahoma and American Dental Associations. With nearly 50 years of experience and ongoing education, Dr. Taylor has mentored others in implant dentistry and formerly led operations at the Kickapoo Dental Clinic. Inspired early on by his mother Velma, who worked alongside him, he helped establish the caring, family-focused atmosphere the practice is known for today. In 2010, he welcomed his son, Dr. Stephen Taylor, to the practice, and they now collaborate closely on patient care. Dr. Taylor enjoys building lifelong relationships with his patients, many of whom he has treated for decades. Outside of dentistry, he cherishes time with his three sons, grandchildren, and garden—often sharing his homegrown vegetables, honey, and lip balm with patients.

You should floss at least once a day to maintain optimal oral health. This helps remove plaque and food particles from between your teeth and under the gum line, where a toothbrush can't reach.
For tooth sensitivity, use a toothpaste designed for sensitive teeth, avoid extremely hot or cold foods and drinks, and maintain good oral hygiene. If sensitivity persists, consult your dentist for a thorough examination and personalized treatment options.
Fluoride strengthens tooth enamel, making it more resistant to decay. It helps to prevent cavities by remineralizing areas of early decay and inhibiting the growth of harmful oral bacteria.
Yes, bad breath can be related to oral health issues such as gum disease, tooth decay, or poor oral hygiene. Regular brushing, flossing, and dental check-ups can help manage and prevent bad breath.
