Implants provide you with a natural-looking and functional alternative to dentures or bridges.
When one of your teeth falls out, the surrounding jawbone weakens. Adding an implant counteracts this process.
Implants allow you to chew and bite more naturally than you would be able to with removable dentures.
Implants are designed to look like the best version of your natural teeth. Get the smile you’ve always wanted!
Don’t let a painful, sunken smile be your reality. Call our office and book a consultation today!

As the owner of Taylor Dental & Implant Center, Dr. Stephen Taylor is thrilled to provide excellence in dentistry and continue his family legacy by practicing alongside his father, Dr. Jim Talyor. He completed his undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma with honors with a BS in chemistry, where he was summa cum laude and phi beta kappa. He then went on to graduate from The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2010. After completing his masters, Dr. Taylor achieved both his fellowship and mastership award from the International Dental Implant Association. In order to provide the most advanced complete comprehensive dental care, Dr. Taylor has spent thousands of hours of additional training on the restoration of single teeth to a complete full arch. His advanced implantology and oral surgery training and education has earned him the prestigious Diplomate Award from IDIA. Additionally, Dr. Taylor networks with other entrepreneurs and professional groups to provide oral health education at schools and event centers. Dr. Taylor has taken multiple dental trips to The Dominican Republic, completing implant placement, bone grafts, and oral surgery. His goal as a dentist is to provide comprehensive, relationship-driven, family dentistry to all of his wonderful patients at Taylor Dental & Implant Center. Dr. Taylor met and married his best friend and wife while in college, and together they have two amazing boys who they enjoy watching play soccer.

Dr. Jim Taylor has been serving his patients in a dedicated family environment since 1976 when he first opened Taylor Dental & Implant Center. He was part of the inaugural graduating class at the OU College of Dentistry and is a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association and the American Dental Association. For nearly 50 years, Dr. Taylor has committed himself to advanced education in all fields of dentistry. As the previous head of dental operations at the Kickapoo Dental Clinic, he mentored and trained fellow dental professionals in dental implant placement and dental implant restorations. His dental journey began with his mother, Velma, who encouraged him in his dental pursuits and initially worked with him at Taylor Dental & Implant Center. Her influence has helped cultivate the family environment our patients enjoy and is the founding contribution to the commitment to care that Taylor Dental & Implant Center has become known for. Dr. Taylor was privileged to welcome his middle son, Dr. Stephen Taylor, to the family dental practice in 2010. Together, they spend countless hours before and after work reviewing cases and truly “Tayloring” each treatment plan for patients, who are treated like part of the family. He loves getting to know his patients and their families, and has known several of his patients for over 40 years. Dr. Taylor has three adult sons and cherishes all of his grandkids. He loves attending all of their different sporting events and activities, and cherishes large family get-togethers. In his free time, he loves spending time in his garden, cultivating plants and his bees. Our patients cherish the fresh veggies, honey, and lip balm he is known to give out frequently.

The dental implant placement procedure is generally well-tolerated and performed under local anesthesia, minimizing pain during the process. Post-operative discomfort can be managed with prescribed pain medications and typically subsides within a few days.
Dental implants require routine oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and regular dental check-ups, similar to natural teeth. It is important to maintain good oral hygiene to prevent peri-implant diseases and ensure the longevity of the implant. Additionally, avoiding hard foods and smoking can help protect the implant.
The cost of dental implants can vary widely depending on factors such as the number of implants needed, and the complexity of the case. Our office offers financing options to help make this important investment in your oral health more affordable.
Dental implants are suitable for most adults who have fully developed jawbones, typically around the age of 18 and older. However, individual health conditions, bone density, and overall oral health are critical factors in determining candidacy. A thorough evaluation by a dental professional is necessary to determine if implants are the best option for each patient.
